A Friendly Game at the Legion...

Kael, Avah & I met the Johnson Girls (Sarah, Olivia & Paige) at the Rockwell Legion to watch the Cyclones and Hawks last weekend. Grandma & Grandpa Johnson and Aunt Fran were about the only others there so the kids were able to run free and have a good time. Here are a few pics from the day.
Avah posing before we left.
Paige and Avah playing in the door way.
Big smiles from Paige.

Go Cyclones!

An Hour With Avah

After catching Avah standing in her chair AGAIN, I thought I'd take a picture to show her when she is grown a little about herself... Once she saw the camera, smiled and said 'cheese' I decided to follow her around to catch her being her... here you go... keep in mind this is just an hour's time!

Here she is crawling into the dirty dishwasher...

This is how we normally have to load the dishes when she is on the loose. Notice my green belly - she is still able to squeeze in!

Here she is tearing the 'feathers' off Kael's first school project. FYI... it is a parrot NOT a bald eagle!

Here she is playing with Kael's turbo gun.

Here she is playing baseball.

Here she is with the baseball in her mouth... one of her many 'puppy like' qualities.
Others include digging in the garbage, tearing open sealed garbage bags, playing in the toilet, eating with her mouth... the list goes on and on and on...

Here she is trying to escape with Daddy when he checked in after work.

Here she is playing baseball in the house.

Here she is trying to stick her thumb in a hole she found in the ball.

Here she is crying after Mommy's wouldn't let her play with Mommy's glasses.

Here she is crawling back up on Mommy again.

Here she is banging on the screens when she heard Daddy and Kael out mowing.

Here she is crawling in the corner behind Kael's tent.

Here she is standing in Kael's chair watching a little TV.

Here she is reading a book...

...aparently The Foot Book is to be read with your feet.

Here she is bringing her dirty PJ's, dug out of the hamper, after Mommy asked her if she was ready to get her PJ's on.

Here she is saying 'ni-night' while walking back to her bedroom (in her CLEAN PJ's).

Here she is trying to get the fridge door open after Mommy asked her if she wanted a bah-bah.

Here she is trying to climb up Mommy's legs to get her bah-bah.

Here she is FINALLY in her crib ready for bed!
The next morning after breakfast...
...the cycle continues!

Kael Goes to Preschool!

Kael's first day of preschool was August 26th. Kael had been begging to go to preschool since last December. He was told he couldn't go until he was three. So, after his third birthday he proudly stated he would be able to go to preschool now! After a LONG summer of questions the day finally came! Mommy got to take him to his first day and Grandma Janet gets to pick him up everyday! He is such a lucky boy! His teacher is Miss Gaffney (Miss Gassy) and he made a new friend this week. (His name is 'the boy with dark hair'. - I don't think he is Native American!)

A few pictures with Daddy before he had to leave for work.
Eating his breakfast of pancakes and chocolate milk.
Posing with his Sponge Bob backpack.Attempting a picture of Kael and Avah together.
Mommy had to hold her down for one.
Goofing off in the car on the drive there. Kael posing by his lightning bolt hook and backpack. I actually had to go in the classroom and pull him out for this picture because he was SO excited for the school day to begin! Our little guy is growing up... sob-sob-sob!
